Alert From Mpox Virus After spreading at an alarming rate in African countries, a new variant of the Mpox virus is spreading rapidly in Europe and Asia. In such a situation, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a global public health emergency.

Until now the virus was confined to African countries. But this virus was caught in the body of a person in Sweden yesterday. The country’s health department has reported multiple virus cases in Pakistan today.

Although there is a cure for diseases such as chicken pox, there is still no specific treatment method to cure this rare disease, experts say, 1 in 10 people infected with monkeypox in Africa have died.

WHO experts say that to prevent the infection or spread of this disease, the mutation or spreading process of the virus must be stopped. Only then will Mpox not get a chance to take a deadly form like Corona.

So before knowing how to get rid of Mpox, let’s know the process of spreading this disease from one person to another.

Mode of transmission of empox disease

Experts say that the empox virus is both infectious and contagious. How the virus spreads between humans is:

1. While talking to an infected patient through his breathing.
2. Skin contact with infected patients.
3. If you use things used by an infected person.
4. Eating food eaten by an infected person.
5. Having physical contact with an infected person.

Ways to get rid of empox

If the mechanism of transmission of pox disease is known, it is possible to easily develop immunity against the virus. The World Health Organization (WHO) advises certain things to be followed to avoid infection. These are-

1. Regular use of mask and goggles to prevent air pollution and transmission of airborne Epox virus.
2. . Avoid touching the mask, skin and eyes with unclean hands.
3.  Use soap, water or sanitizer to keep your hands clean regularly.
4.  Isolate (in a separate room away from other family members) a person with empox at home.
5. Separate things used by the affected person. Avoid eating food eaten by the patient. Also refrain from physical relations. The World Health Organization says that in order to protect yourself, it is important to keep a physical distance from a person infected with empox for at least 3 months even if he is healthy.
6. . Even if you talk remotely with someone who has the mpox virus, you still run the risk of getting it through the air. So keep it away from empox patients.
7. Therefore, doctors of empox patients should pay attention to personal protective equipment. Safety protocols must be followed as necessary.

9. Everyone, including the affected person, should refrain from spitting and expectorating wherever there is empox prevention. Use handkerchief when coughing or sneezing. If using tissue, dispose of used tissue in a lidded waste basket.
